The device is equipped with a spring check valve to control the liquid inlet and outlet channels. When the piston / ram of the hydraulic device is on the suction stroke, the inlet control valve opens and the outlet control valve is kept closed by the spring, leading the liquid into the pump. During the boost stroke, the inlet control valve is closed, and the piston / ram of the hydraulic device forces the liquid out through the outlet control valve.
