2、如果水泵从低于水泵吸水口的低位水池吸水的这种一定要人为灌水，有自来水的灌水很方便，若没自来水只能通过其他工具缓慢灌水。

一般水泵都有专门的灌水口：一般的轻型立式多级离心泵在泵的排气阀位置灌水;立式单级管道泵则在进出水法兰顶部的孔位置灌水;卧式离心泵也可以在泵体的排气阀位置灌水。基本上泵都考虑了灌水排气的问题，都有专门的灌水和排气口。但是有些时候光是靠排气阀或灌水口灌水则导致灌水不完全，可以考虑在进水管上面做一个三通灌水管口，一边运行一边灌水才充分。
